the skinny on Johnnie's Bar

History:  Johnnie's Bar was founded in 1946 by Johnnie Linehan. Johnnie and Genevieve Linehan owned the bar until the late 60s, when they sold to Glen Bottolfson and Ken Kahne. This duo owned the bar for a short period before selling to local Tony Spina. Tony eventually sold it back to Tim Linehan (Johnnie and Genevieve's son) in the mid 70s. Tim and Sandy Linehan owned the bar until 2004 when they sold it to us, Dave and Cheryl Dintemann.

Through Johnnie's Bar, the Linehans established a solid foundation steeped in community support and outreach.  Their philanthropic approach to small business was right on the mark and lends a hand to the continued success of the business. We happily undertook the tradition of community involvement that founder Johnnie Linehan initiated.

non profit raffles

Join us at Johnnie's Bar on Friday!

Local 501 (c)(3) organizations operate cash raffles.  You buy as many tickets as you wish and put your tickets into a bucket.

We invite local organizations that have very little overhead to participate; most of your money is going right back into the River Falls community!

We draw the winning tickets at 6:30.   Another drawing occurs simultaneously with the non-profit raffles; stop in and learn more!

River Falls Baseball Council is currently running the raffles.

*If you are interested in having your non-profit run the raffles please visit on a Friday eve and talk to Cheryl or Dave.

We have a lot of fun here and everyone is welcome to join us!
